How to set up MBAM 2.5

I'd like to set up MBAM 2.5 in my environment.  I'm trying to read through the documentation, but it's not very clear for me. 

I found this webpage explaining it better, but I'm unsure if it'll work or not:http://rorymon.com/blog/?p=2440.  Does this make sense to you folks?

I will be setting up two separate SQL instances: one for database engine, and one for reporting services.
