Hello,
I have a server 2012 on which Windows Server Backup is configured to a pool of 3 USB-disks. Only one disk is connected at a single time. Originally I wanted to create a full backup every night. This seems impossible, the server only creates one full and afterwards only incrementals forever?
But I would be fine with just incrementals if I would know for sure, that all three disks contain a full copy on which the incrementals are based later. In a recover scenario every single disk should be enough to recover all files and SQL database if one or two disks are lost. It shouldn't be necesary that one of the other disks is needed. Can anyone enlighten me on this? Is a single disk in this scenario enough to perform a full recovery? I have googled on this but couldn't find a satisfying answer.
Thanks in advance.
